1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Combine milk, buttermilk, eggs and melted butter, together and lightly whisk. Sift in flour and cocoa into a large bowl. Stir in sugar and chocolate chips.

2. Slowly add liquid mixture and whisk until well combined and smooth. Bake in oven for 35-40 minutes until cake is done and chips have melted.
