Chocolate is a magical ingredient we can never say no to. While we can simply purchase chocolate bars and indulge in the sinful experience of its blissful silky texture, and bittersweet taste, we sometimes want that unique taste in other foods as well. With this idea, people have created so many exquisite recipes using chocolate. Here are a few to melt your soul.

Chocolate pancakes

In a mixing bowl whisk the dry ingredients — flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Beat eggs, milk, and vanilla essence in another bowl, and then add melted butter. Pour the wet ingredient mixture into the other bowl and fold in gently. Heat a lightly oiled pan and pour in one ladle of batter. Cook until bubbles appear on top and then flip over.

Chocolate cookies

Melt the dark chocolate, add sugar, eggs, butter, and vanilla essence to it and mix well. Sift flour and baking powder, and add to the chocolate mixture along with chopped dark chocolate and chopped nuts. Place small balls on a baking sheet and press slightly. Bake in a preheated oven, until cookies rise and set. Take them out and cool completely before serving.

Chocolate sponge cake

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. To this mix three large eggs, vanilla essence, and sifted flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa powder. Gently fold in and combine well. Do not over mix the batter. Pour it into a greased pan and bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool the cake and then serve the best chocolate sponge cake.

Chocolate pie

Crush vanilla cream cookies and mix with melted butter. Press onto the bottom and the sides of a pie plate and refrigerate. Melt dark chocolate and mix with butter and corn syrup. Bring heavy cream to a boil and pour over the chocolate. Cover the bowl. Whisk everything together until glossy. Pour this into the prepared crust and refrigerate for two hours before slicing.

Chocolate brownies with frosting

In a saucepan, melt butter and remove from heat, then add sugar, eggs, and vanilla essence. To this mix cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes. For frosting, combine softened butter, cocoa, honey, vanilla extract, and sugar. Mix until smooth. Frost the brownies while they are still warm.
